Definition and Clarification: That in which I trust or rely upon. Clarification: There is a difference between dependence and inter-dependence.

For instance, in my human relationships, there is an inter-dependency which is reciprocal, or it goes both ways. That means there is a shared dependency. Only in my relationship to God am I to be totally dependent. We should never view human relationships, families, vocations, hobbies, etc., as things on which we are dependent.

Do you think there is a chance that we may be trying to find something through a human relationship that only God can supply?

4. Application: Where do you find yourself trying to meet your needs for dependency? They can only be met in God.
